J. K. Rowling was born in England and is an author of the famous sequel “Harry Potter”. This is a video of her commencement speech at Harvard. In this video she shares her story of hardships which she had to go through to become who she is today.
She shared the benefits and importance of failing in life. She also shared how her failures taught her those things about herself which she could have never know otherwise. Failure taught her that she has immense willpower and that she is surrounded by lovely people who were there to support her when she needed the most. She shared that the personal happiness lies in knowing that life is not a checklist of acquisitions or achievements, your qualifications and your C.V. are not your life.
